Probably built during the second half of the fifteenth century. The Château de Montlebeau is mentioned for the first time in 1497 , the owner was then a Lord of the March. In 1526 , the house is described as built on three levels, with courtyard, bread oven – but by 1674 with an already ruined chapel, surrounded by a small wall. Although more inhabited after the Revolution, at the end of the 19th century, the owner of the time uses it for hunting . Eventually the castle will be totally abandoned.
